Terms and Conditions – Beauty by Joulexa
These terms and conditions, along with our client consent forms, set out the agreement between you and Beauty by Joulexa for all purchases of our products and treatments. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you accept and are bound by the terms in effect at that time. Any changes made to these terms after your purchase will not apply retroactively to prepaid products or services for which payment has already been received. If you have questions about any part of these terms, please contact us before finalising your purchase.
We reserve the right to update these terms without prior notice. Historical versions of our terms are available upon written request via email at contact@beautybyjoulexa.com.au.
General Information and Medical Advice
Before using any of our products, treatments, or relying on information provided by us, please consult your physician or healthcare provider. Only qualified medical professionals should advise on diagnosis, treatment, or management of any health condition.
Information provided in our clinic or on our website is general in nature and not intended to replace professional medical advice. Statements about our products or treatments have not been reviewed by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration or similar authorities, and results may vary. Our products and treatments are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Please consult a health professional before using our products or treatments. We do our best to ensure information is accurate, but do not guarantee completeness or reliability, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use.
References to brands, processes, or third-party products do not imply endorsement or recommendation by Beauty by Joulexa.
Allergy Disclaimer
By purchasing from Beauty by Joulexa, you acknowledge and accept that neither the company nor its affiliates, employees, or agents are liable for allergic reactions to any product or treatment unless such reactions result from our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Adverse Reactions
All therapists and clinicians at Beauty by Joulexa follow strict training standards. Should you experience any side effects, we may require up to 12 weeks to fully investigate your concern, during which your cooperation and participation in follow-up appointments may be necessary.
Refunds
Refunds are generally not provided except where required by Australian Consumer Law, such as:
- If a purchased product or treatment cannot be supplied;
- If you are unable or unwilling to provide information necessary for a prepaid treatment.
Medical Conditions
If you request a refund due to a medical condition, we may ask for written confirmation from a qualified healthcare provider. Without this documentation, we cannot assess or approve refunds.
Client Responsibilities
You may need to provide supporting information for refund requests. Failure to do so may result in your request being declined. Refunds are not available for a change of mind or a change in personal circumstances. Treatments and products are non-transferable between individuals or clinics. Proof of purchase is required for all refunds.
Cancellation Policy
By purchasing products or treatments, you agree to our cancellation policy. You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. Cancellations within 24 hours or missed appointments may result in:
- A charge of 50% of the treatment fee, or
- Forfeiture of a treatment from a package, or
- Loss of any deposit paid.

For Monday and Sunday appointments, cancellations must be emailed.
Late Policy
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled and their deposit/session forfeited. In addition, late arrivals may result in a shortened session.
Pricing and Payments
Prices for products and treatments may change without notice, but you will be charged the rate in effect when your order is confirmed.
